As coordinator of the Horizon Europe NATURE-DEMO project, DigInnoCent s.r.o. participated in the NetworkNature Nature-based Solutions (NbS) Task Forces & Cluster Meeting, contributing to discussions on strengthening collaboration among European research and innovation projects working to advance nature-based solutions.
The meeting brought together representatives from Horizon Europe projects, European institutions and leading research organisations to exchange knowledge, identify opportunities for collaboration and support the wider uptake of nature-based solutions across Europe.
Strengthening Collaboration Across the European NbS Community
Representing the NATURE-DEMO consortium, DigInnoCent engaged with projects addressing climate adaptation, biodiversity, ecosystem restoration and disaster risk reduction.
The event provided an opportunity to:
- present the objectives and progress of NATURE-DEMO;
- exchange experiences on the implementation of nature-based solutions in diverse regional contexts;
- discuss common methodological challenges and opportunities for harmonisation;
- identify synergies with complementary Horizon Europe initiatives.
These exchanges are essential for ensuring that research outcomes are not developed in isolation but contribute to a broader European knowledge base supporting climate resilience and sustainable development.
Supporting Knowledge Exchange
NetworkNature plays an important role in connecting projects, policymakers and practitioners working in the field of nature-based solutions.
By actively participating in these collaborative initiatives, DigInnoCent helps ensure that the experience gained through NATURE-DEMO contributes to European best practices while enabling the consortium to benefit from knowledge generated by other projects.
This continuous exchange strengthens the quality of project outputs and supports the future replication of successful solutions across Europe.
Building Long-Term Impact
Beyond individual project objectives, DigInnoCent is committed to supporting the development of a strong European community of practice around nature-based solutions.
Participation in initiatives such as the NetworkNature Task Forces enables the NATURE-DEMO consortium to contribute to policy discussions, promote innovation and strengthen collaboration that will accelerate the adoption of resilient, sustainable approaches to climate adaptation.
