DigInnoCent Promotes NATURE-DEMO at the European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA 2025)

DigInnoCent s.r.o. represented the Horizon Europe NATURE-DEMO project at the European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA 2025), one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to climate adaptation research, innovation and policy.

As project coordinator, DigInnoCent used the conference to present NATURE-DEMO’s progress, engage with international experts and strengthen collaboration with organisations working to improve resilience through nature-based solutions.

Sharing Knowledge with the European Climate Community

ECCA 2025 brought together researchers, policymakers, regional authorities, industry representatives and practitioners from across Europe to discuss emerging approaches to climate adaptation.

During the conference, DigInnoCent highlighted how NATURE-DEMO integrates scientific knowledge, digital technologies and stakeholder participation to support the implementation of nature-based solutions capable of addressing multiple climate hazards.

The project’s participation generated valuable discussions on:

  • climate resilience planning;

  • multi-hazard risk assessment;

  • digital support tools for decision-makers;

  • monitoring and evaluation of nature-based solutions;

  • knowledge transfer between European regions.

Strengthening International Partnerships

Participation in ECCA 2025 also created opportunities to establish new connections with organisations involved in climate adaptation research and implementation.

These interactions help expand the visibility of NATURE-DEMO while encouraging collaboration beyond the project consortium, supporting the wider adoption of innovative approaches throughout Europe.

Advancing Nature-Based Innovation

As coordinator of NATURE-DEMO, DigInnoCent continues to promote the project’s results at major international events, ensuring that research outcomes reach policymakers, practitioners and the wider scientific community.

Engagement in conferences such as ECCA strengthens the project’s contribution to European climate adaptation efforts and reinforces DigInnoCent’s commitment to supporting innovative, evidence-based solutions that improve resilience and sustainable regional development.
