Sustainable and Highly Durable Nanowire-Based Flexible Transparent Conductive Surfaces for Advanced Electronics (DURATRANS)
The DURATRANS project is a collaborative effort involving a consortium of esteemed partners, including the University of Turku (Finland), Tampere University (Finland), and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (Croatia). This interdisciplinary team brings together expertise in materials science, nanotechnology, microfabrication, computational modeling, and life cycle assessment, fostering a synergistic environment for innovation and knowledge exchange.
DURATRANS aims to create bioinspired transparent conductive surfaces (BTCS) that are highly durable, flexible, and sustainable, addressing the limitations of current materials and enabling a wide range of applications in wearable sensors, medical devices, robotics, energy harvesting, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
